Founded in January 2022, Walker Engineering Consultants was established with a vision to serve and add value to communities by providing tailored engineering consultancy services. Since then, the company has grown and contributing to hundreds of infrastructure projects across New Zealand. Our experienced team includes professional engineers, draughtsmen, and engineering technicians dedicated to delivering excellence. We have built a reputation for delivering compliant and cost-effective solutions for both small and largescale infrastructure projects.

The company is led by Peter Walker, an experienced Chartered Professional Engineer in the Structural Civil, and Geotechnical fields (CPEng No: 1161503). Peter has been in the construction and engineering industry since 2009, working on projects across Africa, Antarctica, Australia, and New Zealand. He holds multiple qualifications, including a Bachelor of Civil Engineering (Honours) Degree and a Master’s in Civil Engineering (First Class Honours) from Auckland University. Peter is a Chartered Member of Engineering New Zealand, an accredited International Professional Engineer (IntPE/APEC Engineers Register), and a quality-approved professional engineer on Auckland Council’s author list.
